Met Office predicts rain for Hazara, Malakand division

PESHAWAR: The Met Office here on Monday predicted rain at isolated places in parts of Hazara and Malakand division during next 24 hours that will help bring temperature down.As per Met Office Spokesman here, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country and a fresh shallow westerly wave is expected to approach northern areas of the country on Monday.In next 24 hours, mainly dry weather is predicted in most parts of the country, however rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Hazara, Malakand divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.The weather of Abbotabad, Malakand, Dir and Swat districts is expected to remain cloudy with chances of rain during this period.Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. however, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan in next 48 hours.Mainly weather remained dry in most parts of the country, however rain occurred at a few places of Kashmir. Maximum rain was received by Garidupatta 06mm followed by Rawalakot 04mm.The hottest place remained Shaheed Benazirabad, Chhor and Hyderabad where 37 C temperature was recorded while pollen count today remained 4,247 per cubic meter.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
