Weather to remain dry for next 24 hours: DG MET

ISLAMABAD: Director General Meterological Department Arif Mehmood has predicted mainly dry weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours.Temperature is likely to rise in plain areas of the country. However, rain with thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning in Islamabad was 15 degree centigrade, Lahore 19, Karachi 24, Peshawar 18, Quetta 17, Gilgit and Murree 9 and Muzaffarabad 13 degree centigrade.Yesterday, rain lashed different areas in Malakand, Hazara divisions and Kashmir.Chief Amount of Rainfall recorded during last 24 hours in Dir Parachinar was 05mm, Chitral 03mm, Saidu Sharif Malamjabba 02mm, Kohat, Kotli and Lower Dir 01mm.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
