QWP to support KP Govt for peace: Sikandar Sherpao

PESHAWAR: Parliamentary leader of Qumi Watan Party in Khyber Pakthunkhwa Assembly Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao MPA here Wednesday said that establishment of peace and improving law and order situation in the province would be the top priority of the newly elected government and would take all the likeminded parties on board to achieve this objective.Talking to reporters at premises of KP Assembly before taking oath as MPA here, Sikandar Sherpao said people have great expectations from the newly elected assemblies and time has come to forge unity and cohesion to take the province out of existing difficult challenges. He said QWP would support KP Goverment for establishment of durable peace and improvement of law and order in the province.Sikandar Sherpao said a joint national strategy was required to address menace of terrorism and militancy once and for all.Sikandar Sherpao said QWP has joined the PTI led government in KP in the national interest to strengthen democracy system and carry the ship of democracy forward.He said QWP would continue struggle against corruption and injustices in the society.
