Action over bogus degrees,right step by ECP

KHANPUR: The steps being taken by the Election Commission of Pakistan to expose bogus degree holders and ensuing action against them is in line with the constitutional requirement.Such steps are in the "right direction", said Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) Punjab president maulana Rasheed Ahmed Ludhianwi while talking to reporters here.He appreciated that with the active pre elections process all over the country an enabling environment for stronger democracy was being created.To a question, he said that there was a possibility of seat adjustment with PML-N at the country level. "The matter is being discussed with other political, religious parties as well", he explained.He stated that his party has given the green signal to district office bearers to go for seat adjustment with any politcal party at their level.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
