Pakistanis invited to 14th Asian Bioethics Conference at Chennai

KARACHI: Pakistani researchers and scholars have been invited to attend the 14th Asian Bioethics Conference: "Ethics in Emerging Technologies to Make Lives Better Together" scheduled to be held from November 19 to 23, at Loyola College, Chennai, India.President, Asian Bioethics Association (ABA), Dr. Aamir Jafarey on Tuesday invited Asia based researchers and scholars, including those from Pakistan, to submit abstracts for their respective presentations by June 30.Early submission will result in early decision and notification, he said mentioning that the abstract should not be more than 300 words in English with 3 to 5 key words.It should also carry the full name(s) and contact details of the author(s).The participants may not necessarily be Paper presenter but also those keen to attend as a participant.Students have also been urged to ensure their presence and can also submit their paper that will be considered for best student presentation.Interested presenters have also been requested to indicate three preferred sub-themes (from the list) that their abstract fits into.The sub-themes include Health, Disease Medical Ethics;Bioethics Education; Human Enhancement; Research Integrity and Responsibility; Ethics of Emerging Technologies; Ethics of Science, Innovation and Industry; Women, Gender and Bioethics; Human Security and Dignity; Environmental Ethics and...
