Met office forecast rain for Hazara, Malakand divisions

PESHAWAR: The Met Office here Monday forecast rain with thunder showers at isolated places of Malakand and Hazara divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during next 24 hours.According to Spokesman of Met Office here, Malakand, Swat, Abbottabad, Manshera and Haripur districts are likely to receive rain with thunderstorm due to prevalence of shallow westerly trough in northern areas of the country.He said the seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan and its adjoining areas and that mainly hot and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country.However isolated rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected in Malakand and Hazara divisions , Kashmir Gilgit-Baltistan, while at one or two places of Northeast Punjab during evening/night. On Monday afternoon, Peshawar has received light showers, making the weather pleasant.In next 48 hours, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during evening/night.Rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in Upper KP, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, while at isolated places of Islamabad and upper Punjab in last 24 hours whereas hot and dry weather remained elsewhere in the country.Maximum 34 millimeter rain was received by Astore followed by Garihidupattta,...
