Kaira hails BNP(M) to end boycott

LAHORE: Former Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said Saturday that decision of the Balochistan National Party (Mengal) to end the boycott of Balochistan Assembly was praise-worthy and a good omen for democracy."This decision would help BNP(M) to strive for the rights of the Baluch people through parliamentary politics", he said in a statement here.Kaira said that it was reassuring that the BNP(M) has expressed faith in the veracity of the democratic ethos as the best and civilized way for the attainment of legitimate rights."It is a very good news for democracy, for Balochistan and Pakistan", he said, adding this decision would encourage other estranged Baluchs to join the mainstream politics as the prevailing enabling political environment, created during the last five years of democratic rule.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
