KPK govt to support federal govt in bringing peace: Khattak

LAHORE: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak on Saturday said that his government would support the federal government in bringing peace and tranquillity in the country.Talking to the media here at Imran Khan's residence, he said the KPK government would support all those policies of the federal government which would help bring peace in the province.They would make efforts to adopt a policy to ensure peace and root out terrorism from the province, he added.He said the KPK government would strengthen the police department which could stop robberies, kidnap incidents and other crimes.To a question regarding drone attacks, he said that it was the responsibility of the central government to get stopped drone attacks in tribal areas.To another query, he said: "The decision about NATO supply would be made after the consultation with allies and according to the aspirations of the people of province."Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
