Mastermind of criminal group arrested

RECORDER REPORTKARACHI: Special Investigation Unit of Police (SIU) on Saturday claimed to have arrested mastermind of criminal group along with his three accomplices involved in targeted killings, extortions and other heinous crimes during an operation in Pak Colony area.Police also recovered weapons of different calibres and hand grenades from their possession.During investigation, police said that mastermind of the criminal group confessed to have murdered people in city. The members of SIU, on the tip off, raided in Pak Colony area arrested Yaseen along with his two accomplices namely Mohammad Ghani, Bhutto Bangali and Ghulam Sarwar and recovered 02 hand grenades, 01 Kalashnikov, 02 repeaters and 04 TT pistols from their possession.Pirababad police also revealed the arrest of another notorious criminal named Rashid Patanga who was involved in the killings of various people in city.
