Chaudhrys for reshuffling of bureaucracy in Punjab

LAHORE: PML-Q President Senator Ch Shujaat Hussain and central leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday claimed that free and fair elections were not possible without reshuffling of bureaucracy in the province. Talking to media persons here at the residence of Yousaf Ahad Malik here, they said that the current Punjab administration was appointed by Shahbaz Sharif. Earlier the PML-Q leaders offered Fateha for Ahad Malik, renowned businessman and political figure, and condoled with the family on his demise. Ch Shujaat claimed that the PML-N leadership was disturbed on the defections of their workers in case they were not allotted party-tickets. Regarding coalition with the PPP, Shujaat said the process of seat-adjustment with PPP had not yet been completed, adding that NA-105 (Gujrat) was the ancestral seat of the PML-Q as he had been elected five times from the constituency. He said Ch Zahoor Elahi (Late) used to contest elections from the same constituency and Ch Pervaiz Elahi was a candidate from NA-105 for the general election.
