Two killed in Bannu blast, former MPA among six injured

BANNU: At least two persons were killed and six others including former MPA Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Assembly, Wazir Janikhel were injured in a blast near his vehicle here on Sunday. According to details, unknown miscreants targeted former KP MPA with planted bomb in FR Bannu when he was on his way to address an election campaign gathering.As a result of explosion two persons were killed on the spot while six others including Wazir Jani Khel, his aide Malik Khakan and a police constable Wasim were injured. The injured were rushed to Bannu Hospital for treatment from where seriously injured people were referred to Peshawar.Meanwhile, unknown miscreants blasted a government run Wali Ayaaz primary school located in Mandan area of the district but fortunately no causality or injury was reported in the blast as the building was lying vacant at the time of explosion.
