Ali Ahmed Kurd welcomes Dr Abdul Malik

QUETTA: Renowned lawyer leader and former president Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Ali Ahmed Kurd has welcomed nomination of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch for the top slot of the Balochistan government.Talking to reporters, here on Monday, he said: "appreciate the decision taken by Prime Minister in waiting Mian Nawaz Sharif, Pashtoonkhawa Milli Awami Party Chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai and National Party leader Mir Hasil Bizenjo to nominate Dr Abdul Malik for the post of Chief Minister Balochistan," adding his nomination would help in normalizing the situation in the province.He said that a person belonging to middle class would assume the steering wheel of the provincial government in a society that remained dominated by Nawabs and tribal chieftains for centuries.He hoped that Chief Minister is waiting Dr Abdul Malik would play active role to resolve Balochistan issue especially in restoration of peace and maintenance of law and order.He said that political dialogues would help in normalizing situation in the province.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
