ISLAMABAD: Metereological Chief Arif Mehmood has said that cold and dry weather would prevail throughout the country on Friday."Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours", he said.Meanwhile, scattered rain and snowfall over the hills is forecasted in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.The lowest minimum temperature of 11 degrees centigrade was recorded in Parachinar on Friday.The minimum temperature of some major cities was: Islamabad 9 degrees centigrade, Lahore 8 C , Karachi 14 C, Peshawar 6 C, Gilgit 4 C and Muzaffarabad 7 Cm and Murree -1 C.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
