Met Office forecasts in Peshawar, DI Khan, Bannu divisions

PESHAWAR: The Met Office here Wednesday forecasted scattered-rain thunderstorm in Peshawar, DI Khan and Bannu divisions during next 24 hours.According to Met Office here, a shallow trough of westerly wave is affecting Balochistan and is likely to persist during next 24-48 hours. The weather of Parachinar, Peshawar, Bannu and DI Khan will remain cloudy with chances of rain in the said period.Also, scattered rain-thunderstorm is expected in Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, D.I.Khan, Bannu, D.G.Khan, While at isolated places in Sukkar, Larkana, Hyderabad, Multan, Makran, Peshawar divisions and Kashmir.Dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.In next 48 hours, scattered rain-thunderstorm is predicted in Northeast Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Kalat divisions), while isolated places in KP, Upper Central Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan is also expected.However, dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country. Weather remained dry in most parts of the country, however isolated rain-thunderstorm occurred in Balochistan in last 24 hours.Maximum rain was received by Quetta 15mm followed by Parachinar 06, Turbat 04, Kalat 03, Pasni 02 Panjgur 02 mm respectively.The hottest place remained Chhor 37 C followed by Badin 35 C and Lasbela 34 C while pollen count today remained 8,848 per cubic meter.Copyright APP (Associated Press...
