Two more children die of measles in Lahore

LAHORE: Two more children died on Tuesday due to measles disease outbreak across Punjab.An eight-month old child named Aurangzeb died in Children’s Hospital of the provincial capital. The deceased was resident of Chungi Amar Sidhu area of the city.A two-year old child identified as Ahmed from Pattoki also passed away at Children's Hospital.On the other hand, the provincial health department has launched a special vaccination campaign in Lahore.Around 3 million children between age of six months and ten years will be vaccinated during the campaign which will be continued till May 05.Copyright INP (Independent News Pakistan), 2013
