Two shot dead in Latifabad

HYDERABAD: Two persons were killed in a firing incident near Mehboob Ground Latifabad late on Monday night, police said. The deceased were identified as Nadeem Ajmeri and Manzoor Pehalwan. The bodies were shifted to Liaquat University Hospital City Branch for medico-legal formalities. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Hyderabad Zone's Information Secretary Iftikhar Kaimkhani told APP that Nadim Ajmeri was a worker and Manzoor Pehalwan a supporter of the party. He said they were sitting near the venue of a corner meeting of a candidate of the MQM when unknown armed men riding a motorcycle shot them dead and escaped.
