Caretaker CM Sindh distributes compensation cheques

KARACHI: Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh, Justice Zahid Qurban Alavi (Retd), on Wednesday distributed compensation cheques among injured persons of bomb blast incident of Abbas Town, at the CM House here.In all, he distributed 26 compensation cheques of Rs one million each among injured persons who were treated on government expenses at various hospitals, that is, Liaquat National Hospital, Aga Khan Hospital, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and Fatema Bai Hospital.Those who were present on the occasion included Commissioner Karachi Division, Hashim Raza Zaidi, Chairman Zakat Committee Karachi, Khalid Latif, Special Secretary to CM, Rafiq Ahmed Burero, Acting Secretary (Home), Mudassir Iqbal, Deputy Commissioner, Jan Muhammad Kazi.Copyright APP (Associated Press of Pakistan), 2013
