Death toll from eating poisonous food rises to 8 in Muzaffargarh

MUZAFFARGARH: Three more members of a family affected of consuming poisonous food expired during treatment on Thursday raising the death toll to eight.It should be mentioned that nine family members hailing from Basti Jangla of teshil Jatoi, district Muzaffargarh, were affected of consuming toxic food on Tuesday.The affectees were shifted to hospital where five of them expired.On Thursday three more people including Ghulam Yaseen, his daughter Misbah and 11-year-old son died raising the death to eight while condition of two more persons was serious.
